Evidence Summary (Added 2022)
One review article with meta-analysis found a significant improvement in dynamic balance measured by the Time up and Go test when comparing aquatic-based activity and usual care in 4 studies. (MD-1.62, 95%CI -1.99–1.25, I2=8%)(4).

Conclusion
Whilst there is an improvement in balance with aquatic-based activity. There was no significant difference found in other physical activity interventions.
